<p>PURPOSE: A media rotary machine is provided along the circumference of which a plurality of composite media filled media units are installed, and an advanced wastewater treatment method is provided to maximize separation of sludge, decomposition of organic matter and removing of nitrogen and phosphorus by installing the media rotary machine at aerobic tank. CONSTITUTION: The media rotary machine(10) comprises a hollow outer housing(14) along all over the surface of which a plurality of holes are formed; an inner housing which is installed to form a partition wall in the outer housing and has the same length as the outer housing; hollow media units(12) a plurality of which are arranged circumferentially and longitudinally at the same time in a space between the outer housing and the inner housing, and along all over the surface of which a plurality of holes(20) are formed; a plurality of composite media filled in the media units; a rotation shaft(24) adhered to both side surfaces of the outer housing; a driving means connected to the rotation shaft; and a control unit(28) for controlling driving of the driving means, wherein the media rotary machine is installed at aerobic tank(22) or aerobic tank and anaerobic tank, the rotation shaft of the outer housing is mounted on the wall surface of the aerobic tank with a bearing being interposed therebetween, and one end of the rotation shaft passes through the aerobic tank and is connected to the driving means installed outside, and wherein a door(30) is mounted on the outer housing of the media rotary machine in such a way that the door is opened and closed to exchange the media units arranged inside the outer housing.</p> |
