COOLANT DISTRIBUTOR FOR HEAT EXCHANGER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A refrigerant distributor for a heat exchanger and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to form a body part in the streamline shape for smooth advancing of refrigerant without incurring any eddy. A refrigerant distributor for a heat exchanger includes a hollow body(11) in which refrigerant flows, an inlet part(12) formed at an end of the body for introducing the refrigerant, and an outlet part formed at the other end of the body. The outlet part has a plurality of outlets(13) formed in serial integrally and inserted by ends of respective refrigerant tubes of a heat exchanger, wherein the ends of the refrigerant tubes are fixed in the outlets. The body has an expansion part(111) in which a sectional area is expanded by a predetermined length from a rear end of the inlet part, and a taper part(112), in which a sectional area becomes reduced gradually from a rear end of the expansion part to a front end of the outlet part for reducing resistance of path.
