An image forming apparatus is provided to adjust transferability of toner images of all colors so that all toner images can be transferred sufficiently onto paper even though diameters of a plurality of photosensitive drums are different from each other. A latent image is formed on cylinder-type surfaces of a plurality of photosensitive drums(11a-11d) by difference of electrostatic potential. Toner images with different colors are formed thereon by arrangement of toner. An endless belt(2) forms a closed path between two support rollers(22,23) so as to be contacted to one of the photosensitive drums. The toner images on the photosensitive drums are transferred by overlap onto a sheet of record paper delivered on an outer surface of the endless belt. Transfer rollers(9a-9d) are pressured from the inside of the endless belt to each of the photosensitive drums. The photosensitive drums include one photosensitive drum having a diameter different from diameters of other photosensitive drums. The transfer rollers are composed of the same materials and have the same diameters.
