A program product, a reproducing device for reproducing image information recorded on an optical disk, a server, and a service are provided to reproduce A/V(Audio/Video) data limited within a visible period on the device not connected to the network and protect data with high stability by performing a process encrypting/decrypting data in a program recorded on the disk. The first medium ID number recorded on a recording medium is obtained(S2). A password is obtained(S3). The second medium ID is calculated from the password(S4). The first medium ID is compared with the second medium ID(S5). In case that both medium IDs are identical with each other, the information in the recording medium is reproduced(S10).
