REFRIGERATOR WITH UPWARD DISCHARGE-TYPE ICE DISPENSING DEVICE

A refrigerator for upward ice-discharge is provided to enlarge a space of a refrigerating compartment by disposing an ice-maker in a freezer compartment but dispensing ice from the refrigerating compartment conveniently. A refrigerator for upward ice-discharge includes an ice-maker(400) mounted in a freezer compartment(2) at a lower part of the refrigerator. An ice-bank(600) is mounted at a lower part of the ice-maker, and has a top part opened for receiving ice and an ice discharge hole to be opened/closed at a lower part. An ice moving path(200a) is provided to a side of the ice-bank for the freezer compartment. A chute box(30) is coupled inside a door(3) of a refrigerating compartment and has an ice moving path(300) connected to that for the freezer compartment. A shooting element shoots ice discharged from the ice-bank via the ice moving path to discharge the ice to a dispenser(D) of the door of the refrigerating compartment.
