OVERLOAD VEHICLE NOTIFICATION SYSTEM USING TELEMATICS SYSTEM OF VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF

An overload vehicle notification system using a telematics system of a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to prevent road damage and careless accident and environmental pollution due to overload. An overload detection unit(10) detects overload of a truck by comparing the present weight of the truck load with a maximum load weight. A telematics system(20) transmits a truck registration number and an overload warning signal when overload information is detected from the overload detection unit. A first server extracts position coordinates of the truck received from a GPS satellite(40) using positioning information when an overload warning signal is detected from the telematics system. And a second server regulates the corresponding truck using the position and vehicle registration number information of the overload vehicle transmitted from the server installed in a service center(30).
