<p>The said industrial design is characterized by a cap for a writing instrument having a cap section and an elongated clip section, the cap section having a smooth curved surface which tapers to a rounded right end; the elongated clip section extends axially along the length of the front of the cap section from a location close to the right end thereof and extends beyond the left end of the cap section, the clip section has a front portion with a generally flat front surface and symmetrical side edges which taper slightly inwards toward the left end of the clip section; the clip section has a symmetrical right end portion which curves rearwards and the right away from the right end of the front portion of the clip section and extends around the cap section close to the right end of the cap section.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the design for the cap for a writing instrument;Fig. 2 is a front elevational view thereof;Fig. 3 is a bottom view thereof;Fig. 4 is a rear elevational view thereof;Fig. 5 is a left end elevational view of the design for the cap for a writing instrument;Fig. 6 is a right end elevational view thereof;Fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along a plane defined by A - A in Fig. 2.Diagrams of the design are included.</p> |
