A heddle is capable of designing a system optimally, reducing a production cost and increasing workability of a power loom. A weaving heddle comprises: at least one of end eyelets(15,16) containing a rear stem(23) connecting a head zone(24) to a root zone(21); and a first arm(25) and a second arm(26) set clear from the rear and extended in a direction becoming more distant from the head zone and the root zone. The weaving heddle has a free space having 17.5mm of maximum height(H2) measured parallel with the rear stem between the head zone and the root zone. A holding rail for the heddle has a cross-section having 16mm of maximum height and 1.5mm of maximum width. |
