A leak preventive structure of an assembling portion of a coupler for a high pressure hose is provided to restrict leak by inserting a sealing member to an installation groove and assembling a socket of the coupler with a nipple with swaging. A high pressure hose(20) is inserted to an installation groove(18) formed between a nipple(16) of a coupler(10) and a socket(12), and sealed to restrict oil leak flowing into the high pressure hose. A leak preventive structure is composed of a sealing member(30) elastically contacted to seal in pressing the socket inside the high pressure hose, and the installation groove formed in an outer periphery of the high pressure hose or an outer periphery of the nipple of the coupler to fasten the sealing member. The depth of the installation groove is less than the thickness of the section of the sealing member.
