An automatic lubricating device of a carriage for a lathe is provided to improve convenience and working efficiency by lubricating the lathe actively, and to extend the life span of the lathe by decreasing wear. An automatic lubricating device of a carriage(100) of a lathe is composed of an oil pump(110) supplying lubricant by receiving rotational force in turning a vertical transfer handle(160) in the carriage of the lathe, an oil chamber(120) communicated with the oil pump to store lubricant and composed of plural supply holes(121) supplying lubricant in receiving lubricant over a specific amount of lubricant, and a carriage lubrication hole communicated with the supply hole of the oil chamber to discharge lubricant to a contact portion of the carriage and a bed. The oil pump supplies lubricant by sucking lubricant from a storage tank in the carriage, and has a drain hole communicated with the storage tank.
