METHOD FOR DRIVING A PAL SIGNAL IN THE NTSC TYPE TFT-LCD PANEL

A method for driving a PAL signal in an NTSC type TFT LCD panel is provided to minimize line jittering and to prevent the difference of data sustain time resulted from data skip. According to the method for displaying a PAL image signal on an NTSC type LCD device, the PAL image signal is divided into two fields. And data at the same position of a first field and a second field are skipped. The skipped data is data of a line where there exits data actually among 625 data lines. The data skip period is two times as that of a CRT.
