A monitor tilting device of an audio/video system for a vehicle is provided to prevent interference with surrounding components by tilting the monitor after linearly moving the monitor from the audio/video system body forward wit compact structure. A monitor tilting device of an audio/video system for a vehicle is composed of a frame(2) fixed to a vehicle body and composed of a slot part having a fixing slot, a backward and forward moving member(3) connected to a lower part of a monitor(1) of the audio/video system by a hinge and composed of a moving slot(31) to move the lower part of the monitor back and forth, and a link member(4) connected to the monitor by a hinge and combined with the fixing slot of the frame and the moving slot of the backward and forward moving member. The fixing slot of the frame is bent downward near the monitor, and the moving slot of the backward and forward moving member is bent upward.
