A transmitter, a transceiver and a transmitting method are provided to reduce a cost for constructing a transmission filter and construct the transmission filter with steep transition bands. A transmission filter(36) filters a signal transmitted from a transmitter in order to prevent transmission of other portions of the signal except a designated frequency band. A compensation filter, namely, an equalizer filter(48), filters the signal upstream from the transmission filter(36). The compensation filter changes the signal in order to counteract at least one of a phase ripple, an amplitude ripple and a group delay variation in the band. A power amplifier(34) amplifies the signal. A digital predistorter(50) suppresses distortion of the signal induced by both the power amplifier(34) and the transmission filter(36). The digital predistorter(50) samples the signal downstream from the power amplifier(34) and downstream from the transmission filter(36) in order to measure distortion caused by the transmission filter(36) and the power amplifier(34).
