CONTACTLESS INTEGRATED CIRCUIT CARD WITH REAL-TIME PROTOCOL SWITCHING FUNCTION AND CARD SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

A contactless IC card equipped with a real-time protocol switching function for transferring data between the IC card and a terminal, and a card system including the same are provided to enable the IC card to communicate with the terminals of various communication protocols by realizing the contactless IC card to analyze the communication protocol in real-time. An analog interface block(280) demodulates a received RF(Radio Frequency) signal in order to respectively meet the multiple communication protocols. A multiple contactless UART(Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter)(360) discriminates the communication protocol of the received RF signal by responding to the demodulated signals and outputs a flag signal corresponding to the discriminated communication protocol. A TRX(Transceiver) protocol control register(340) controls the interface block and the UART block by responding to the flag signal in order to perform communication according to the communication protocol of the received RF signal.
