A mobile terminal having a foldable microphone is provided to enhance the speech quality of a mobile terminal by transferring a transmission voice of a user clearly without a noise. A microphone(210) detects a call sound of a user. A microphone rotating unit(220) is connected with the microphone(210) and rotates the microphone(210) from a main body of a mobile terminal. A rotation support unit(240) is flange-connected with the microphone rotating unit(220) to support rotation of the microphone rotating unit(220), and is reciprocally moved in a horizontal direction of the main body of the mobile terminal. A cylinder(250) is connected with the rotating support unit(240), fixes the microphone rotating unit(220) and the rotation support unit(240) inside the main body of the mobile terminal when the microphone rotating unit(220) is pressed to be led in a horizontal direction of the main body of the mobile terminal, and takes the microphone rotating unit(220) and the rotation support unit(240) out of the main body of the mobile terminal when the microphone rotating unit(220) is pressed again.
