AN APPARATUS FOR CORRECTING THE CENTERING OF BAR IN MILL LINE

To provide an apparatus for correcting bending of bar and automatically correcting centering of the bar correspondingly to centering of pass line according to bending of the bar in case that a slab is rolled in thickness and width directions according to finish rolling specifications in a roughing mill line. The apparatus(1) for correcting centering of bar is characterized in that multistage of pitch rolls(34a,34b) for measuring centering the bar at the input side of table rollers(220) and pressing the bar the bar from upper and lower parts of the bar are installed to correct upward bending and downward bending of the bar, a plurality of pitch rolls(34a,34b) are disposed such that both corners of the bar are pressed in a width direction between the pitch rolls to correct widthwise bending of the bar, and plural guide rolls(92) which detect widthwise bending of the bar and are projected from the table rollers correspondingly to bending of the bar are installed to adjust width of the bar such that centering of the bar corresponds to centering of pass line as the bar is passing through the guide rolls.
