ERADICATOR OF FILAMENTOUS FUNGI OR ACARID AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An eradicator of fungi or acarid comprising titanium dioxide and a manufacturing method thereof are provided, which titanium dioxide has improved anti-microbial activity and deodorizing activity, so that the titanium dioxide is useful for eradiating fungi or acarid. The eradicator of fungi or acarid comprises titanium dioxide, wherein the titanium dioxide has an anatase crystal structure; the eradicator is a dispersion solution containing titanium dioxide powder having the particle size of 5 to 10 nm; and the eradicator is sprayed to the surface of carriers to form a fungi-eradicating coating layer on the carriers. The method for manufacturing the eradicator of fungi or acarid comprising titanium dioxide comprises the steps of: mixing titanium alkoxide solution with ethanol; adding water and catalyst into the mixed solution and stirring it to form titanium dioxide slurry solution; drying the titanium dioxide slurry solution to form amorphous titanium dioxide powder; heating the amorphous titanium dioxide powder to crystallize it; and dispersing the crystallized titanium dioxide powder in a solution.
