SYNC SYSTEM OF INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION USING ISMS AND METHOD USING IT

A system and method for synchronizing personal information using an ISMS(Interactive Short Message Service) are provided to reduce users' inconvenience of inputting data stored in an existing terminal into a new terminal and overcome the limitation of a memory. An MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(21) recognizes that an origination message received through a base station from a mobile terminal(10) is an ISMS message. An SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(22) transmits the origination message to an ISMS server(25). The ISMS server(25) is connected to a personal information management server(30) to request transmission/reception of data according to the origination message. The mobile terminal(10) and the personal information management server(30) store data such as an address list and a text message and download/upload to/from each other.
