FIELD: ammunition, in particular, artillery shells, whose body has an inside weakening groove for uniform fragmentation, made in the form of intersecting multiple-thread grooves. ^ SUBSTANCE: the body has a cylindrical envelope with a net of spiral riffles applied onto its inner surface by pulling, they form semi-finished fragments, driving band and an open vacuum space in the tapered tail end narrowing from behind and having through radial slots and formed by means of a bottom cross-piece. The novelty is in the fact that the bottom cross-piece is made on the tail end with a stepped end face, on which the cylindrical envelope is rigidly installed on sealant, the driving band is installed at the joint of the tail end envelope end faces, it fulfills the function of a bandage, and the head section of the cylindrical envelope is squeezed on the ogival profile on n arbor. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of fragmentation of the ammunition at a reduced labor content in manufacture of the built-up shell body, enhanced range of fire. ^ 4 dwg, 1 ex |
