FIELD: mechanical engineering; threaded joints. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed joint has pipe with outer thread and shank with external sealing surface in form of truncated cone arranged between thread and end face of pipe. It has also enclosing member with mating inner thread adjoining intake end face and inner conical surface arranged behind. In assembled threaded joint plane of beginning of contact of sealing taper surfaces of pipe and enclosing member perpendicular to axis is deepened relative to end face of pipe in direction of its outer thread. Free part of shank, owing to edge effect, increases specific pressure of adjoining section of sealing butt joint of taper surfaces. ^ EFFECT: increased tightness of joint. ^ 2 cl |
