FIELD: technical microbiological, sewage treatment. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for treatment of industrial sewage or water-return systems containing ammonium nitrogen and acid-resistant form of bacteria (microorganisms) causing acid microbiological corrosion. Composition for preventing acid microbiological corrosion of water comprises organic chelating agent and inhibitor of nitrification in their mole ratio = (5-1):(1-5). As an organic chelating agent the composition comprises citric acid, phosphonic acids or their derivatives, for example, oxyethylidene diphosphonic acid, nitrilotrimethyl phosphonic acid, aminoalkane phosphonic acid, alkane diphosphonic acid with the amount of carbon atoms in alkane moiety from 1 to 6, amino acids, for example, aminoacetic acid or its derivatives, for example, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or their water-soluble salts. As an inhibitor of nitrification the composition comprises inhibitor of nitrification of triazole order, for example, 4-amino-1,2,4-triazole, and/or pyrazole order, for example, 5(5)-methylpyrazole. Method for treatment of water causing acid microbiological corrosion involves dosing inhibitor of acid microbiological corrosion wherein as an inhibitor of acid microbiological corrosion the composition comprising inhibitor of nitrification and organic chelating agent are used. Also, invention relates to a method for utilizing industrial ammonium nitrogen-containing waters by their using as additional water for feeding systems of return water supply. Method involves feeding systems of return water supply is carried out by periodic dosing the composition for preventing acid microbiological corrosion.
