FIELD: testing technology; check of hollow articles, belt conveyers for example for tightness. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes blowing the air with medium under test through article; air blown into article contains labeled atoms; provision is made for receiver filled with air to which labeled atoms are introduced; then, pressure of air and concentration of labeled atoms are recorded and article under test is tightly connected with receiver. In case article is untight, air with labeled atoms will penetrate from receiver to article under test; drop of pressure in receiver and reduction of concentration of labeled atoms are noted. Reduced concentration of labeled atoms in receiver and drop of air pressure are indicative of untightness of article. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. ^ 1 dwg |
