CONVERSION KIT FOR TRANSFORMING A TRACKED VEHICLE TO A WHEELED VEHICLE

A conversion kit converts a tracked utility vehicle into a wheeled utility vehicle. The tracks and the cogged drive sprockets are removed and a chain and sprocket system is installed to drive the front wheels. A chain-driven sprocket is affixed to the front wheels. Alternatively, a gear system or a belt drive system could be used instead of the chain and sprocket system. The rear wheels are free- rolling and swiveled to the rear of the chassis with an offset to allow the vehicle to turn when it goes in reverse. The utility vehicle has a cab forward of the engine compartment and a hydraulically controlled front tool. In the winter, the tool may be a shovel, blade or plow. In the summer, the tool may be replaced with a scoop or lawn cutter.
