The computer accessory is provided with a press button for establishment of a connection with a specific site on the Internet. It takes the form of a mouse mat (1), provided with press buttons (13) and is connected via a cable (15) to a computer (3). The driver software for the mouse mat is present on a CD-ROM (5) and moreover contains addresses of a specific website and its corresponding web page. After installation of the driver software one of the press buttons serves for the automatic formation of a connection with the Internet and an automatic access to a specific website, of which the address is present on the data carrier (5). With the other press button, access directly to a specific page of the website can be achieved.
