PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input apparatus enabling a user to easily grasp information about function of an own apparatus or function setting and the contents of images stored in the own apparatus at a glance. SOLUTION: The image input apparatus 1 is provided with a means for generating image data G, a RAM 5 for storing the generated image data G, a reduced image data generating means for generating reduced image data G2 of the image data G stored in the storing means, a printing data generating means for generating printing data in which the plurality of items of reduced image data G2 are put together into one page, and an output means for outputting the generated printing data.
