PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp with a built-in reflector which can maintain the good hermeticity of a discharge space while suppressing the temperature rise of a flange. SOLUTION: The lamp with a built-in reflector comprises: a trunk having a recessed reflecting surface at an opening end, a pair of an anode and a cathode arranged at prescribed intervals in the discharge space formed inside the trunk including the reflecting surface; a power feeding ring fixed to the opening end of the trunk; a translucent window member for sealing the discharge space from the opening end side of the trunk; and metal rings which cover the outer periphery of the trunk and the power feeding ring to fix the trunk and the power feeding ring, and feed power to the cathode via the power feeding ring. In the lamp, the outer diameter of the window member is made larger than the outer diameter of the metal rings. Additionally, the lamp includes the flange for holding the window member, and at least a part of a contact area between the flange and the window member is exposed outward.
