PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idea generation support device and idea generation support method which support the collection and arrangement of information necessary for finding a new viewpoint. SOLUTION: When a keyword is inputted from a concept input part 1, the keyword is passed to a concept management part 6 through an input/output control part 5, and the keyword is delivered together with other keyword sets being which are in a group to which the keyword belongs and stored in a concept storage part 7 to an association part 8 by the concept management part 6. The association part 8 uses the keyword sets to make a search part 9 search information stored in an information storage part 11, performs keyword extraction concerning the search result, and evaluates the score of relevance ratio of the inputted keyword. The extracted keyword is rearranged in descending order of the score and is returned to the concept management part 6 by the association part 8. The concept management part 6 displays the extracted keyword on a display part 4 through the input/output control part 5 in descending order of the score. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
