PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize low-pressure spark discharge in an emission analyzer capable of performing at least low-voltage spark discharge. SOLUTION: A control gap 4 is hermetically sealed by an insulating block 20 made of an insulating material and the insulating block 20 has a feed-in port 22 for feeding in dry air provided to one surface thereof and has a discharge port 24 for discharging the air in the insulating block 20 provided on the other surface thereof to stabilize the discharge in the control gap 4. Further, a coil 26 having a magnetic material core is installed between an analyzing gap 6 and a main discharge control part 2. The coil 26 has a sufficient inductance with respect to the current from a control gap controlling/high voltage producing part 8 to prevent the passage of the current and causes a magnetic saturation with respect to the current from the main discharge control part 2 larger than that current to pass a current without almost having inductance.
