PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor capable of preventing continuous use with fuel supply quantity from a fuel port 2 adjusted wrong. SOLUTION: In the carburetor having an adjustment screw 6 fixed on an adjustment limitation means 10, having a locking part 10 provided on a mixing body 1, having the adjustment screw 6 adjusted by screw motion in a predetermined tolerance 12 in which the adjustment limitation means 10 is not locked by the locking part 11, having a breakable joint part 17 provided on the adjustment screw 6, constructed in such a manner that the breakable joint part 17 breaks and the adjustment limitation means 10 drops out of the adjustment screw 6 when torque greater than a predetermined value is applied on the adjustment limitation means 10 while the adjustment limitation means 10 is locked to the locking part 11, the breakable joint part 17 is provided between an external screw part 20 of the adjustment screw 6 and a spring receiving flange 17, the spring receiving flange 17 and an energizing spring 8 drop out of the external screw part 20 of the adjustment screw 6 when the breakable joint part 17 breaks.
