PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of noise, deterioration in pump performance and lowering of mechanical efficiency, by setting a tooth shape of mutually meshing inner rotor and outer rotor in a proper shape. SOLUTION: This oil pump rotor has a tooth surface shape comprising a curve obtained by separating at least either one of the inner rotor 10 or the outer rotor 20 by a distance of 1/4 to 3/4 of tip clearance by dividing a cycloid curve into two parts at the central point.
