A method and an apparatus for three dimensional, accurately controllable and user customizable massaging are provided. The apparatus (10) includes actuators (28, 32) for three-axis movement of massage bumps (78), a pressure sensor (36) and a temperature sensor (70). Pre-configured massaging curves which are followed by the massage bumps are provided and a user may select and further customize the curves. Also the curve may be adjusted by measuring the body contour of a user and incorporating the measured curve into existing curves. The massaging curve includes acupressure operations and heat treatment operations. |
