<p>A process for the production of N,N',N"-trisubstituted isocyanuric acids by heating an N-substituted carbamic acid derivative represented by the general formula (1): (1) [wherein R is a hydroxyl-protecting group; and Z is a group represented by the general formula (2) or (3): (wherein R' is hydrocarbyl or a heterocyclic group having a carbon atom at the site attached to the adjacent oxygen atom)] [at a temperature ranging from 95 °C to 145°C when Z is a group represented by the formula (3)] to thereby obtain an N, N', N"-trisubstituted isocyanuric acid represented by the general formula (4): (4) (wherein R is as defined above). According to the process, N, N', N"-trisubstituted isocyanuric acids can be simply produced in high yield.</p> |
