A multi-purpose hand spray with a vertical locking valve is provided to easily place the present spray in a limited space, to design it so as to be hanged on a hanger, and to allow a spraying shape with a single thick stream. The multi-purpose hand spray with a vertical locking valve includes: a controller(101), composed of a linear toothed wheel(20) for control, an inlet including a connection, into which a pressurized water flows, an outlet having a diameter of various sizes so as to be easily connected, and an internal passage, connected from the inlet via the linear toothed wheel(20) to the outlet, and configured as a body, which is designed so as to be hanged on a hanger; an extension bar(103), composed of an inlet portion, having an adapter with various diameter, an outlet portion, an O-ring, and a passage and also designed so as to be hanged on a hanger; and a spray faucet(105), composed of an inlet hole, an outlet hole, a cover plate, an O-ring, a chamber and a passage.
