<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protective device capable of expecting a stable effect without changing the effect according to each condition of the occupant. <P>SOLUTION: According to this occupant protective device, a posture correction part 30 has an air bag, and is installed at a front end of a seat face of a seat 202. When an occupant D is seated at a regular position and knees of the occupant are brought into contact with a knee protector 208 installed to the dash panel 206 upon collision of the vehicle at a front face. At the time of collision, the air bag is deployed, and the posture of the occupant D is corrected to take a regular posture.
