<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information embedding device and method capable of shortening processing delay as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The information embedding device comprises block unit video data generation means (12-15) for generating block unit non-compressed video data from original video data for one picture, a block selection means (16) for selecting the block unit non-compressed video data as block unit non-compressed video data of first and second sorts, a specific information calculation means (17) for calculating specific information on the basis of the block unit non-compressed video data of the first sort, an information embedding means (19) for embedding the specific information in the block unit non-compressed video data of the second sort in accordance with an electronic watermark means, and a block array supply means (20) for supplying the block unit non-compressed video data of the first sort and the block unit non-compressed video data of the second sort in which the specific information has been embedded to respective encoding means (21-23) in prescribed order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
