SPACE FILTERING METHOD, SPACE FILTER, AND ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space filtering method and a space filter to reduce dark defect in a peripheral part of a flow image without an evil influence, and an ultrasonic diagnosing apparatus having a space filter of that sort. SOLUTION: A position of a pixel having a pixel value which is applicable to a predetermined condition and the number of continuous pixels are acquired for a flow image (901). When the number of the continuous pixels are within a predetermined limit, the region where the pixels exist is judged to be a correcting region (903), and the pixel values in the correcting region are replaced by the pixel values which are interpolated from the surrounding pixel values (905). The condition of the pixel values are prescribed by the threshold value. The limit of the number of the continuous pixels can be changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
