PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoanalysis method which enables a quantitative analysis of the composition of a multicomponent sample, of which the constituents are known, simply with high precision and good reproducibility by one analysis. SOLUTION: In the thermoanalysis method for quantitatively analyzing the composition of the multicomponent sample of which the constituents are known by one analysis, a temperature control system is a system for stopping a temperature rise during a weight changing period of the sample or during endothermic/exothermic period. The composition analyzing method has a step for statistically processing weight and/or heat quantity data acquired by measuring a plurality of standard substances and a step for quantitatively calculating the composition of the multicomponent sample from the weight and/or heat quantity data acquired by measuring the multicomponent sample using the result due to statistical processing.
