PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by reducing the number of buttons of a remote controller and realize an operation environment usable for a user without thoughtlessly increasing the number of buttons of the remote controller and without impairing the various operability of the remote controller, by automatically switching the operation functions of a specific button of the remote controller depending on situation. SOLUTION: A digital broadcast receiving/recording/reproducing apparatus is provided with a drawing information determining means for analyzing digital broadcast data contained in a received digital broadcast signal, to determine whether or not drawing information to be displayed as video information is contained in the digital broadcast data, and a user operation contents interpreting means for switching the operation contents by the specific button of the remote controller on the basis of a determination result of this drawing information determining means to interpret the contents.
