PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary telephone set capable of being installed even outdoors wherein no telephone wires are provided. SOLUTION: The stationary telephone set 10 is configured such that a mobile phone 2 is contained in an enclosure 1, a handset 3 capable of being placed on the enclosure 1 while activating a speech interruption switch 4 provided to the enclosure 1 is connected to the mobile phone 2, the speech interruption switch 4 is connected to the mobile phone 2 capable of activating speech interruption of the mobile phone 2 by hooking on the handset 3 and an entry section 7 connected to the mobile phone 2 is provided on the outside of the enclosure 1.
