OPENING AND CLOSING VALVE PROVIDED IN HYDRAULIC DAMPER FOR VIBRATION CONTROL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing valve provided in a hydraulic damper for vibration control capable of obtaining satisfactory operation by a simple circuit configuration. SOLUTION: A first opening and closing valve 28 and a second opening and closing valve 30 are arranged in a first flow passage 12 and a second flow passage 14 connecting oil pressure chambers 4 and 6 provided on both sides of a piston 2 reciprocating in a cylinder 1, respectively. The first opening and closing valve 28 switches damping coefficient by a main valve 34 opened and closed by leading pilot pressure in and out of a pilot chamber 36 arranged in the first flow passage 12. The first opening and closing valve 28 is provided with a pilot change-over valve 52 changed over in accordance with pilot pressure introduced from the oil pressure chamber 4 on one side. The pilot change-over valve 52 closes the main valve 34 by shutting off communication with a low pressure side of the pilot chamber 36 due to rise of pressure in the oil pressure chamber 4 on one side and opens the main valve 34 by communicating the pilot chamber 36 with a low pressure side due to reduction of pressure in the oil pressure chamber 4 on one side.
