PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission capable of effectively transmitting a large amount of power by the provision of a sliding vehicle which rolls into contact with a transmitting vehicle which moves in conjunction with an output shaft and an input shaft at several points, and ensuring maximum life of the continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: In the continuously variable transmission capable of controlling a transmission ratio due to a contact point displacement by rolling the sliding vehicle into contact with the transmission vehicle which moves in conjunction with the output shaft and the input shaft, the sliding vehicle 71 is formed at a plurality of sliding vehicle section 72, which is rotatable about a rotary shaft at a different angle and integrally connected in the direction of the rotary shaft, and each sliding vehicle is made to roll into contact with the power transmission vehicle 3.
