PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of increasing a moving speed of fluid (liquid, gas), capable of being applied to all of pipes having a specific length such as a gas pipe, a water pipe and a pipeline for petroleum, and to provide a device for increasing the moving speed of fluid (liquid, gas). SOLUTION: The torque is applied to the fluid (liquid, gas) P moving in a pipe 1 to generate centrifugal force, whereby the moving speed V of the fluid (liquid, gas) P in the pipe 1 is increased. The left-handed or right-handed torque is applied to the fluid (liquid, gas) P moving in the pipe 1. Further the torque of the fluid (liquid, gas) P is generated by a projecting or grooved spiral part 2 formed on a wall face in the pipe 1. On the other hand, this device for increasing the moving speed of the fluid (liquid, gas) P is provided with a left-handed or right-handed spiral part 2 longitudinally in the pipe 1.
