PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle frame with a main frame on which a fuel tank having high rigidity and a large tank capacity can be placed allowing an engine to be integrated with the frame in a highly rigid manner. SOLUTION: The frame 1F of a motorcycle 1 comprises the main frame 4 extending from the rear part of a head pipe 2 to the longitudinal direction and a down-tube 5 arranged downward and rearward from the head pipe 2. A boxed portion 3 is formed at the rear part of the head pipe 2. The main frame 4 formed with one rear part lowered at the rear side is integrally connected at its front end to the boxed portion 3. The main frame 4 has an engine lifting portion at the middle part. A branching member 8 partially extending downward is integrally arranged at the rear end of the main frame. The branching member 8 has a lifting hole 8u in the downward extending portion for lifting the engine E at its rear part and a supporting hole 8h for supporting a shock absorber unit at one end.
