SEWING THREAD FOR CHECKING BROKEN STITCH, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND METHOD FOR CHECKING THE BROKEN STITCH

Disclosed herein is a sewing thread used to manufacture sewn products. The sewing thread comprises a fluorescent dye capable of emitting a different color from a fabric upon irradiating with UV light.Further disclosed are a method for producing the sewing thread comprising pretreating, dyeing, drying and processing steps wherein the dyeing step is carried out by dyeing 0.2 &tilde& 2% of a fluorescent dye to a sewing yarn; and a method for checking the occurrence of broken stitches and curves by irradiating UV light to a sewn product that is manufactured using the sewing thread. In accordance with the present invention, since the sewing thread makes the easy, rapid and accurate check of broken stitches in a simple manner, labors and costs required for inspecting sewn products are reduced and defects are easily found. Therefore, the present invention is very useful in the improvement of the quality control of sewn products.
