The hinge has two stop parts (10,11) connected together through an articulated lever with a lock which can be overcome but which is to prevent the lever from moving relative to one of the stop parts. The lock is formed by a magnet (16) mounted in one of the stop parts. One of the stop parts can be formed like a hinged pot containing the lever and magnet. The lever has two side webs connected through a cross web (17) wherein the magnet engages on the cross web.
