摘要 Radio terminals, when moving to cause a handover, are allowed to realize and select authentication methods according to their mobility granularities/mobility frequencies. Radio stations (BS1.BS4, BS11.BS14), to which radio terminals (TM1, TM2, TM11, TM12) are connected, periodically transmit beacons, which include domain information of the network-access nets provided by those radio stations. The radio terminals (TM1, TM2, TM11, TM12), before moving, receive, from the radio stations (BS1.BS4, BS11.BS14) to which the radio terminals may be connected next, the beacons to obtain the domain information, whereby the radio terminals can determine their mobility granularities. The radio terminals (TM1, TM2, TM11, TM12) decide, in accordance with the mobility granularities, whether they should transmit authentication information to the radio stations to which they may be connected next or they should perform authentication processings together with an authentication server anew after being connected to the next radio stations.
