METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INFORMATION SEARCH

A device, a method, and a computer product for searching information with attributes of searching elements and affiliations among elements are provided to easily search the desired information on a small display screen by performing search after fixing the attributes and the affiliations of the elements. A search program(30) includes a search engine(300) and a database manager(320). The search engine includes a query manager(302), a query database(304), a query analyzer(306), a search controller(308), a record analyzer(310), and an answer output part(312). The data manager includes an SQL(Structured Query Language) generator(322) and a record manager(324). The search program continuously searches element sets stored in an RDB(Relational DataBase) according to the information in a query from a user terminal and returns the elements obtained as a search result to the user terminal. The query manager receives the query from the user terminal and stores/manages the query in the query database. The query analyzer extracts the information in the query by analyzing the received query and provides it to the search controller.
