<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode maturation device for lead-acid storage battery of which the temperature in a thermo-humidistat oven does not abnormally increase by the influence of the number of electrode plates 15, quantity of moisture, temperature, and outside temperature. <P>SOLUTION: In case that the temperature of the thermo-humidistat oven becomes high by oxidation reaction of metallic lead to exceed a prescribed temperature range, the oxidation reaction is restrained by restraining the inflow of air into the thermo-humidistat oven by controlling an air valve. Further, the thermo-humidistat oven is made to keep the temperature within prescribed range by reducing pressure by a decompression pump 10 while supplying moisture through a spray 12. The gas exhausted from the thermo-humidistat oven by the decompressing pump 10 is divided into gas and liquid by a condenser 9 and water is generated. The generated water is supplied again from the spray 12 to the thermo-humidistat oven by a pump 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
