<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device and method for manufacturing prints which facilitate arranging and tidying up of recording media. <P>SOLUTION: This printing device 10 is provided with a storage device 34 for storing image data to be recorded in a CD-R38. Corresponding image data are selected from among image data stored in the storage device 34 based on an image selection command, and a selection image 64 corresponding to the selected image data is displayed on a display part 32. The selection image 64 displayed at a display part 32 is edited, based on an image editing command. Character information 66, relating to the contents of the CD-R38, is displayed at a display part 32 based on the input of the character information.
