<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory control system and method for introducing a new memory. <P>SOLUTION: This memory control method includes a step of starting a duplication function in a processor 125, a step of transmitting vacant data instructions from a new memory(memory B) to a processor 125 and a step of duplicating the application data from a first old memory(memory A) to the new memory. One embodiment of this system is provided with a processor 125, a bus 160 communicating with the processor 125, a first memory(memory A) communicating with the processor 125 in a first data path isolated from the bus 160, a second memory(memory B) for communicating with the processor 125 in a second data path isolated from the bus 160, that is, a second memory having a vacant memory instruction for providing the corresponding instructions to the processor 125, in response to any application data not being included in the second memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
